Supplier User Account Name Is Changed Based on the Email Address

Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
While creating the supplier contact user from iSupplier Portal, the user name gets auto generated by the system. However, the same information gets overridden when email address is added so the user name will be based on this information.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
User is expecting to see the information entered in the first place and not based on the email address.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Supplier Contact Directory
2. Click on Create
3. Enter User Full Name, Email Address.
4. Select ‘Create User Account for this Contact’.
5. Note that the username gets generated automatically.
6. Select the responsibilities to be assigned to the user. Click on Apply.
7. The user gets created for the supplier.
8. Click on Update for the user.
9. Note that the Username gets changed to the email address entered for the user.
