Symptoms


When attempting to Cash Management Command Center Data Load program, the following error occurs in the log of child program ECC Run Data Load

ORA-20001: Value for the profile option "CE: Available Transactions Range for ECC" is not set in correct format. Please set the date value in DD-MON-RRRR (Example 01-JAN-2020) format and run the data load ORA-06512: at "APPS.CE_ECC_UTIL_PVT", line 2731 ORA-06512: at line 1 oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer11.processError(T4CTTIoer11.java:509) oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer11.processError(T4CTTIoer11.java:461) oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.processError(T4C8Oall.java:1104) oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.receive(T4CTTIfun.java:550)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into ECC Developer responsibility
  2. Run the Cash Management Command Center Data Load program
  3. Review the log of child program ECC Run Data Load
  4. The patch 35824939 was applied (solution from Doc ID 2981480.1 - R12 AP: ECC Data Load Error: "ORA-20001: No value is set for the profile option CE: Available Transactions Range for ECC") but the profile name "CE: Available Transactions Range for ECC" is not in the list of values from System Administrator responsibility - Profile - System
