Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) Date Fields Are Blank For POs Created Using WebADI (Doc ID 3021046.1)

Last updated on MAY 07, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.13 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When creating POs using Web ADI the Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) date fields are not populated on the Header DFF.
DFF Date fields are showing NULL in the PO form although there are values populated in the back-end.

Using Standard Date WEbADI saves into corresponding DB tables values like:
  Standard Date --> 12-JAN-22 AM
  Standard DateTime --> 15-JAN-22 PM

When It should save those values as:
  Standard Date --> YYYY/MM/DD 00:00:00
  Standard DateTime --> YYYY/MM/DD HH24:MM:SS

 1. Upload WebADI with required data to create a standard purchase order with DFF date fields populated
 2. Run the custom Business Service Object (BSO) Import Program
 3. PO is created but DFF date fields are blank

 Upgrade to 12.2.13 or Patch BNE 33658580 is applied
