Last updated on MAY 14, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Approvals Management - Version 12.2.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Observed that AME rule does not get triggered though the conditions are satisfied

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Approval Management Business Analyst Responsibility

2. Select the transaction type and click on Run Test Workbench

3. Enter the Transaction Id for the transaction for which transaction was made

4. Observe that the AME attributes are fetching the expected values for the transaction id but the associated rule is not getting picked in Run real test workbench 2

For Example: Say the AME rule should get picked up for four different absences and AME condition is as below

XX_ABSENCE_TYPE IN (SPECIAL LEAVE, ANNUAL LEAVE, MATERNITY LEAVE, EARNED LEAVE)

In AME test workbench, This condition is returning the value as expected for the transaction id was passed but still associated rule is not getting triggered.
