Currency Amounts for Requisition Distribution are Recalculated with Incorrect Long Decimal Values
(Doc ID 3024864.1)
Last updated on JUNE 14, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Currency Amounts under Requisition Distribution are recalculated incorrectly for the long decimal values.
The issue occurs through iProcurement for Distribution Lines, when the lines are split by percentage.
Normal precision settings are not sustained to deliver two decimal place rounding at the table level.
The "decimal dust" created by the incorrect rounding, causes incompatible values further down the line within Receiving.
EXAMPLE:
REQ_LINE_CURRENCY_AMOUNT should be 7012.54, but ends up being 7012.540000000000000000000000000000000001 due to the percentage split.
REQ_LINE_CURRENCY_AMOUNT should be 2987.46, but ends up being 2987.460000000000000000000000000000000004 due to the percentage split.
