Users Setting up BulkReporting Feature With an Offline Database but OTM Continues to use the OLTP Database Causing Load Issues On the Primary Database (Doc ID 3026318.1)

Symptoms

Users are attempting to setup a Report to with the DB source as a Report Database such as Offline (ODS) or Archive (ARCHIVE) but when the report/process launches it continues to use the OLTP/Primary Online Database

Customer appears to have ODS DBASE SETUP - OFFLINE DATABASE below are properties from CUSTOM property set defined



But when navigating to Business Process Automation → Reporting → Report Manager

Users do not see an "offline" selection to run report against a ROD database - it is not an option, so users are trying to run the report from an offline or archive database BUT The report always runs from the OLTP database
