Symptoms

When attempting to execute the API(HR_PERIODS_OF_SERVICE_API.UPDATE_PDS_DETAILS), following error occurs.

ORA-20001: System Error: "Cannot update ROE Serial Number"
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_UTILITY", line 949
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_CA_PERSON_TERM_LEG_HOOK", line 284

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Execute the API(HR_PERIODS_OF_SERVICE_API.UPDATE_PDS_DETAILS).
