EBS Cloud Manager Backup Fails with Error "In this backup session, backup was skipped for the following archive logs" (Doc ID 3031527.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create backup on E-Business Suite (EBS) instance via Cloud Manager, it fails on below error :

Log in to Cloud Manager - Instances - Create a New Backup

 

dbTierUpload.log

java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.Exception: On host <> RMAN backup task failed.

 rmanBackup.log

[ERROR] pool-2-thread-1 (null) - In this backup session, backup was skipped for the following archive logs:
skipping archived logs of thread 1 from sequence <> to <>; already backed up
[ERROR] - Backup of the above archive logs is required for RMAN restore/recovery.
[ WARN] - Backup of certain archive logs may get skipped if there is another RMAN backup attempted/scheduled via some other tool in parallel with a conflicting archive log deletion policy.
[ INFO] - While restarting EBS Cloud Backup, ensure that no other tool is taking a backup of the archive logs at the same time with a conflicting archive log deletion policy

 OR

[ERROR] - In this backup session, backup was skipped for the following archive logs:
no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence <> and starting SCN of <> found to restore
[ERROR] - Backup of the above archive logs is required for RMAN restore/recovery.
[ WARN] - Backup of certain archive logs may get skipped if there is another RMAN backup attempted/scheduled via some other tool in parallel with a conflicting archive log deletion policy.
[ INFO] - While restarting EBS Cloud Backup, ensure that no other tool is taking a backup of the archive logs at the same time with a conflicting archive log deletion policy
