Reinstatement Fails with Cause: Override amount is too large

Symptoms
When attempting to run Calculate Gains and Losses the following error occurs for a reinstatement:
Error: Depreciation cannot exceed depreciation limit.
Cause: Override amount is too large.
Action: Enter an override amount that will not cause depreciation to exceed the depreciation limit.
User-Defined Exception
Error: function FA_AMORT_PVT.faxama returned failure
Error: function fa_gainloss_dpr_pkg.CALC_CATCHUP returned failure
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_UND_PKG.fagrin returned failure
FAGRIN: Fail to reinstate asset 'Asset Number'
Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.
STEPS

Using a responsibility such as Fixed Assets Manager which can run Calculate Gains or Losses:
1. Submit Calculate Gains and Loses via the Other : Requests : Run menu
OR
2. Submit it via running the Depreciation Request Set via the Depreciation menu, Depreciation : Depreciation
