Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After running the "PenServer Interface Process" concurrent program, it has been observed that the value for "PQP GB PenServer Start Reason - Service History" is incorrect in the Extract Results Detail Form for employees that are having a change in their pension scheme (for example: from Alpha to Partnership).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Under UK HRMS Manager responsibility or equivalent.
2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for Employee with a continuous pension enrollment of 3 months or more > Assignment > Change pension scheme from "Alpha" to "Partnership".
3. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run "PenServer Interface Process" concurrent program with "Interface File=Service History" parameter.
4. Navigate to Mass Information eXchange: MIX > System Extract > Extract Results > Query for Extract Name="PQP GB PenServer Periodic Changes Interface - Service History" (generated for the above run).
5. Click on Detail > Observe that "PQP GB PenServer Start Reason - Service History" field is wrongly showing "OI" (Opt In) when "TS" (Transition) is expected.
NOTE: "N" (New Joiner) value is expected if the pension scheme change is done for employee(s) with less than 3 months of continuous pension enrollment.
