Mobile Field Service Debrief ERROR: Serial Number Not Found. (Doc ID 3042065.1)

Symptoms

When debriefing an item in a service request on the Mobile Field Service application, users are unable to select a serial number that currently exists in the customer's installed base.
After entering the serial number the following error is displayed:

ERROR: Serial number not found.


Steps
----------
Open the Mobile Field Service application on the mobile device.
Open a Service Request.
Enter an Item Number
Enter a valid serial number installed at the customer location and search
Error is recieved: ERROR: Serial number not found.
