Symptoms
Incorrect Medical Insurance Premium (80D) Exemption in income tax calculation in salary.
When 'Premium for Parents' is paid then 'Medical Expenditure for Senior Citizens (Parents)' should not be considered for tax exemption in Total Chapter VI A Deductions in Statement of earnings.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Employee Self Service Responsibility > Tax Declaration > Deductions under Chapter VIA.
2. Declare Medical Premium (80 D) along with 'Premium for Parents' and 'Medical Expenditure for Senior Citizens (Parents)'.
3. Run Quickpay and go to View > Statement of earnings.
