Values Updated In Descriptive Flex Fields Are Not Saving In Install Base Update Item Instance Page (Doc ID 3044676.1)

Symptoms


Values updated in Descriptive Flex Fields (DFF) are not saving in Install Base

Install Base enabled few DFFs of Item Instance Flex field Details. Update the values DFF segments and they save. Though it shows the values are updated successfully however when re-queried, the values are not saved.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Applications
2. Go to Oracle Installed Base Agent User responsibility
3. Navigate to Item Instance > Item Instances
4.Update the DFF Item Instance Flex field Details values in general tab
5.Re query the same
