When Trying to Create/Modify Address in the Customer Form the Error "Value SSS For The Flex Field Segment State Does Not Exist In The Value Set HZ_US_STATES" Occurs. (Doc ID 3044937.1)

Symptoms

Below error occurs when trying to create or modify address in the customer form:

Value SSS For The Flex Field Segment State Does Not Exist In The Value Set HZ_US_STATES

The issue can be reproduced with the steps below:

Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Customers > Create/Maintain Customers
1. Query or Create Account.
2. Create new site or go to existing site details and change values with State=SSS, Country <> United States.
3. The error is reported just after saving the changes.

NOTES:

A. The issue happens only for countries without assigned Address Style. To verify if country have Address Style or not, you can proceed as follows:

     Responsibility: Receivables Manager
     Navigation: Setup > System > Countries
     - Query for Country for which problem occurs.
     - No value reported for Address Style.

B. The issue does not happen for countries with assigned Address Style. Similar steps as mentioned in A can be used to verify this.
