R12: AP: ORA-01722: Invalid Number In Package IBY_EXT_BANKACCT_PUB While Creating Supplier Bank Account (Doc ID 3045572.1)

Symptoms

While setting up a new supplier bank account getting below error

 ORA-01722: invalid number in Package IBY_EXT_BANKACCT_PUB Procedure IBY_EXT_BANKACCT_PUB.update_ext_bank_acct


STEPS
-----------------------

1. Payables Manager --> Suppliers --> Search the supplier

2. Go to Baking Details section and click on Create

3. After enter the bank account as Alpha Numeric and try to click on apply. Error message displayed

Due to this issue, users cannot create the bank account and unable to make the payment to the supplier.
