ZA: Incorrect Period Is Displayed in the Process Output after Running COIDA Report Concurrent Program (Doc ID 3045592.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 09, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (South Africa) - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After running "COIDA Report" (Compensation for Occupation Injuries and Diseases) it has been observed that "Period" value shown in the process output does not reflect the South Africa tax year.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under ZA HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent.
2. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run the following:
  - "COIDA Preprocess" concurrent program for relevant payroll period (for example June 2024).
  - "COIDA Report" concurrent program using the above process for the "COIDA Preprocess" parameter.
3. Open COIDA Report process output (click on View Output button) and observe that "Period" is wrongly shown as "01-MAR-2024/ 29-FEB-2024" when "01-MAR-2024/ 28-FEB-2025" is expected.
