When Currency on the Sales Order is Changed, It Only Shows a Zero Unit Selling Price on the Order Line When Currency is Set to Same Currency as Shown on the Price List Line (Doc ID 3047386.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When currency on an order is set to 'IQD', it always shows zero as the Unit Selling Price in Order Line
which would not match the currency conversions that are in place.  Why does this occur?
However, if we use the currency 'USD', it is working fine and expected Unit Selling Price is returned.

This happens for manual order entry and copied order.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Oracle Pricing Manager Responsibility
2.  Navigate To: Price List >  Price List Setup
3.  Query the price list
Currency on the price list = IQD
4.  Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
5.  Navigate to: Orders, Returns > Sales Orders
6.  Query sales order and copy the order to a new order
7.  Query the new order
8.  Currency shows as USD and order line's Unit Selling Price has a value > 0 and is correct.
9.  Change currency on the order header and save. See Unit Selling Price at Line is 0.00
