WMS Generated Labels Are Not Printing German Umlaut Characters Correctly
(Doc ID 3047927.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.2.8 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When printing labels using the German language, the generated XML label file shows the German umlaut letters correctly (e.g. ß,ä,ü and ö).
When the label is printed on a printer through the application, the umlaut characters are not shown correctly on the physical output label.
However, if the generated XML is manually sent to the printer, the label will print correctly.
Expectation is the label will print the German letters correctly when printed through the system.
