When Authoring Usage Line with Frequency of "Quarterly" or "Half-Yearly", the Schedule Does not Populate the End Date Automatically (Doc ID 3048235.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 17, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When authoring usage line with frequency of "Quarterly" or "Half-Yearly", the schedule does not populate the end date automatically.
This works correctly when "Monthly" or "Yearly" frequency is used.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new contract from Lease Super user responsibility.
2. Go to additional charges and create a new usage line.
3. Enter the frequency "Quarterly" or "Half-Yearly" and the usage type "Variable Rate".
4. In the usage schedule, enter the number of periods and save. The start and end dates should automatically populate. When queried back the end date does not. It shows blank.
