Symptoms

Update Existing Configurations concurrent program is working only when submitted for a Single Configuration item.
While trying to run Update Existing Configurations using Item Category option from SRS screen, the LOV for Category values throws an error each time.

To overcome this error, tried to submit from a plsql block but obtained error messages in log file:

EVALUATE_ATP_ATTRIBUTES *** p_atp_flag N p_atp_components_flag C result g_atp_flag Y v_atp_components_flag C
ERROR: Others error in Update_Pc_Items::20ORA-12899: value too large for column "INV"."MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B"."MRP_CALCULATE_ATP_FLAG" (actual: 9, maximum: 1)

ERROR: Update_items_and_sourcing returned unexpected error

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into Oracle applications
2. Navigate to Order management > Requests > Submit a New Request
3. Select program name as 'Update Existing Configurations'
3. Submit 'Update Existing Configurations' program
enter parameters :
 Items: 2
  Item Category: XXX
  Configuration Item:
  Sourced configurations: Y
  Process existing order lines: Y
  Upgrade Mode : 2
