WSM_COPY_OPERATIONS.RECO_SCHEDULED_QUANTITY Not Filled In On Split Transaction (Doc ID 3050324.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 30, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Shop Floor Management - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a job is split into 2 jobs, the WSM_COPY_OPERATIONS.RECO_SCHEDULED_QUANTITY is not filled on the job that splits off at the operation sequence of the split. Every operation sequence past the split department is filled in, just not the one it split at. The WSM_COPY_OPERATIONS.RECO_SCHEDULED_QUANTITY is used by Oracle to calculate quantity per assembly when using the wsm_lot_job_dtl_interface table by taking the required quantity and dividing by WSM_COPY_OPERATIONS.RECO_SCHEDULED_QUANTITY. In this case, WSM_COPY_OPERATIONS.RECO_SCHEDULED_QUANTITY is null so quantity per assembly is set to null and when oracle tries to apply the BOM it gives an error saying quantity per assembly can not be null.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The operation sequence for the split job should have values where at the sequence where the job is split.

STEPS
1. Create and release a shop floor job
2. Split the job.
3. Change the bom using the interface tables by either adding a requirement.
4. The split job does not have the require data at the point of the split.
