Symptoms


The application of RUP Patch 33527700 failed during the upgrade from 11i to R12.2.12, with the following error recorded in the log file:

The following Oracle Forms objects did not generate successfully:

ce forms/US CEXSTATI.fmx

An error occurred while generating Oracle Forms files.

The following errors are also reported in the relevant AD Worker log files:


ERROR generating form "forms/US/CEXSTATI.fmx" from input file
/u003/app/applmgr/fs1/EBSapps/appl/au/12.0.0/forms/US/CEXSTATI.fmb

Results of form generation:
(from file /u003/app/applmgr/fs1/EBSapps/appl/au/12.0.0/forms/US/CEXSTATI.err
Results of form generation:
(from file /u003/app/applmgr/fs1/EBSapps/appl/au/12.0.0/forms/US/CEXSTATI.err
 AD Worker has deleted the original .err file)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply RUP patch 33527700
2. Check the AD Worker log files
