Symptoms

When attempting to change the Latest Start Date for an employee, the following error occurs in the People form.

APP-PAY-07860: Costing records exists between the old and new dates.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility or equivalent.
    
    2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain.
    
    3. Search for the affected employee.
    
    4. Try to change the Latest Start Date > Save.
    
    5. Get error.
