Why is the Depreciate Checkbox Automatically selected on the View Financial Information Page? (Doc ID 3052964.1)

When the asset is added in Oracle, the "Depreciate" box is checked by default. If an asset should not be depreciated, the box needs to be unchecked manually. What is triggering this box to be automatically checked in Oracle behind the scenes?

Steps to see the check box:

1. Log in as the Fixed Assets Manager
2. Navigate to / Assets / Asset Workbench
3. Query the Asset
4. Select the "Financial Inquiry" button
