Symptoms

Unable to create new supliers.

User gets the following Error once clicking on the [Create Supplier] button.

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance.

If click on Error details, user gets the following:

Exception Details.

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Could not create Java class: (xxonto.oracle.apps.pos.supplier.webui.SuppCrtCOExt) associated with region: (pageLayoutRN). This is probably because the class name is wrong or not included in project.

Steps to repoduce:

  1. Log into Oracle Applications using a Payables responsibility.
  2. Open the Supplier main OAF Page
    (N) Suppliers > Entry
  3. Click on the [Create Supplier] button at the upper right corner of the OAF Page.
  4. The Error.
