AutoReversal Criteria Set Move/Merge and Move/Merge Reversal Settings Modification Generates Form Error ‘FRM-40200 Field Protected Against Update’ (Doc ID 3053200.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to modify an AutoReversal criteria set for two specific categories and the following error shows at the bottom of the form when
attempting to set modify them:

The change is not allowed by the form for Move/Merge and Move/Merge Reversal Categories, all other categories can be modified without this error being seen.

STEPS
--------
1) Using a Oracle General Ledger Responsibility.
2) Navigate to Setup > Journal > AutoReverse.
3) Query the Autoreverse criteria set being used.
4) Scroll to the Move/Merge or Move/Merge Reversal Categories listed.
5) For either of these categories select (enable) the AutoReversal or AutoPost Reversal check box.
6) The noted error is seen at the bottom of the form.
