Symptoms
Observed that, Medicare Levy Surcharge (MLS) Deduction is calculated to be more value, this is because deduction is supposed calculated only on "Taxable Gross", but been calculated including the Public Holiday Earning
Also there should not be any Medicare Levy Surcharge (MLS) deduction on Secondary payment with taxable income, but application deducts the same MLS amount as calculated for the "Taxable GrossPayment".
Expect that, Medicare Levy Surcharge (MLS) Deduction is calculated correctly and is calculated only on "Taxable Gross".
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE:
1. Login using "Australia HRMS Manager" Responsibility.
2. Navigate to Fastpath --> Statement of Earnings.
3. In the launched form observe that "MLS Deduction" was more. It was figured out that MLS Deduction which was supposed to be calculated only on "Taxable Gross", but been calculated including the Public Holiday Earning.
4. Also when there is a Secondary payment with taxable income, there should not be MLS charging, but application deducts the same MLS amount as calculated for the "Taxable GrossPayment".
