Learning Administator Responsibility – Enrollment page:Waitlisted Notification Is Not Send to the Learner When Learner Is Enrolled for a Second Time on the Same Class With Waitlisted Status (Doc ID 3056280.1)

Symptoms

Waitlisted notification is not sent to the learner for a specific scenario like below:

When a learner is enrolled onto a class that has Waitlisting enabled and that enrollment is canceled (enrollment status 'Withdrawn')
and then the learner is enrolled again but this time with a status of 'Waitlisted' the notification titled 'You have been placed on the Waiting List for a class' is not produced for the learner.

Expected to received the notification 'You have been placed on the Waiting List for a class.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using Learning Administrator Responsibility -> Catalog ->Set up a class with Waitlisting enabled.
2. Enroll a learner with a status of 'Confirmed'
3. Un-enroll the learner (status is now 'Withdrawn').
4 Enroll the same learner in the same class with a status of 'Waitlisted'.
5. Observe that the notification titled 'You have been placed on the Waiting List for a class' is not sent to the learner in the Worklist.
