Optional Option Deselected From Configurator Page Does not Deselect Option Class (Doc ID 3057735.1)

Symptoms

Unable to deselect option from configuration in Order Management >Configurator page.
Quote is converted to sales order for a Model with Option Class and options underneath.
The Orders are created from Quote with configuration created in Quotes.
Now from sales order form > query the order created from quote >on lines click on configurator >uncheck option class 'yyyy' below error occurs

The Following items require your input before finishing configuration
The Configuration is not Complete .


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.From Quotes > Create Quote >Create configuration by selecting option ‘XXXXX ’ .
From Quotes >Configuration page we can easily un select option and save ,no error occurs for ‘Incomplete configuration’ as by unselecting option ,the option class automatically deselects
2.Place the order .
3.Now from sales order form > query the order created from quote >on lines click on configurator >uncheck option class 'yyyy' below error occursNow from sales order form > query the order created from quote >on lines click on configurator >uncheck option class 'yyyy' below error occur
Configuration is incomplete
As we see the Option Class is not deselected.
