Progress KIT Model Line Errors With ORA-06502: PL/SQL: Numeric or Value Error: Character String or Buffer too Small in Package OE_SHIPPING_INTEGRATION_PVT Procedure Update_Shipping_PVT (Doc ID 3057740.1)

Symptoms

When progressing KIT model line having large number of included lines with line workflow activity "Line Flow -   Generic with Freeze Included items at Pick"
and profile option OM: Included Item Freeze Method set to PICK RELEASE,
the following line workflow errors are raised:

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string or buffer too small in package OE_SHIPPING_INTEGRATION_PVT Procedure Update_Shipping_PVT
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string or buffer too small in package OE_SHIPPING_INTEGRATION_PVT Procedure Process_Shipping_Activity
Workflow activity ship has failed. Please fix the errors and retry the activity from the Order Form or the Workflow Monitor.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
OE_Shipping_WF.Shipping_Activity(OEOL, xxxxxxxx, xxxxxx, RUN, xx,) Wf_Engine_Util.Function_Call(OE_SHIPPING_WF.START_SHIPPING, OEOL, xxxxxxxx, xxxxxx, RUN)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. OM Super User Responsibility
2. Order Organizer > Create new order that has 2 kits.
3. Sales order - Actions --> Progress Order --> Select Freeze included items – Eligible.
4. Error is raised
