Currency Conversion Not Working On Changing the Unit List Price Manually

Symptoms
The currency conversion is not working on updating the list price of quote/sales order line manually.
Although the currency conversion is working fine when the Unit List Price is not modified
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User / Pricing
2. Navigate: Navigate to MENUPATH > Orders, Returns
3. Open the Sales Order form and Query the Sales Order
4. Navigate to Line Items tab
5. Update the Unit list price of item and then change the currency
5. Notice that List price is not updated due to currency conversion
