Cannot Save Spatial Route: Unable To Save Asset : ORA-01403: No Data Found (Doc ID 3058291.1)

Symptoms

When trying to save Spatial Route, the following error appears:
Unable to Save Asset : ORA-01403: no data found

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a spatial route and save it
2. Query the spatial route created and click on open button
3. Spatial route map will open
4. Click on draw route
5. After drawing the route, click on Save spatial route button
6. Get the error
