Working Capital Fund (WCF) Billing Extension Assignment Inactive When Copying from a Project or Template with an Active Billing Extension (Doc ID 3058379.1)

Symptoms

When a Working Capital Fund (WCF) project is creating by copying a project or template that has an active billing extension assigned, the extension becomes inactive once the new project is associated
with an order.   As a results costs cannot be distributed and revenue cannot be generated.

The following rejection reason appears in the Draft Revenue Generation Eligibility Report:

The project does not have an eligible event or expenditure item.

Steps:

1.  Using a Projects responsibility, navigate to Projects.

2. Enter the name of the template (with an active billing assignment) in the Name field and click 'Find'.

3. Select 'Copy To' and enter in the Quick Entry Fields and click 'OK'.

4. Confirm that the new WCF project that is created and associate this new project to a G-Invoicing order.  The extension is now inactive.
