Non Inventory Items Not Pick Released When 'Prior Reservations Only' Option Is Enabled (Doc ID 3058445.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Shipping Execution - Version 12.2.12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Non Inventory (expense)  items are not pick released when 'Prior Reservations Only' enabled

Navigation: Shipping > Release Sales Orders > Release Sales Orders

Under Order tab, there is a field  'Prior Reservations Only'

When there is a non-inventory (expense) item on a sales order, the expected behavior is that that the delivery line for the non-inventory item is progressed to staged/pick confirmed status and assigned the same delivery number as the rest of the lines in the delivery. This behavior occurs when releasing without prior reservations only enabled.

When 'prior reservations only' is enabled on the pick release form, the expense item is not pick confirmed and also not assigned the delivery number. This results in the delivery invoicing without the expense item included.
