Notification Not Received by the Approver and Error Message 3205 ‘Pos:<Position>‘ Is Not a Valid Role or User Name Is Displayed in Status Monitor after Submitting Self Service Request (Doc ID 3060193.1)

Symptoms

After submitting a self service request (for example: leave request) it has been observed that the notification is missing from the manager Worklist.
When checking the transaction in the Status Monitor, the following error message is displayed:


3205 'POS:<POSITION>' is not a valid role or user name.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in as the employee.
2. Under Employee Self Service Responsibility or equivalent.
3. Navigate to Absence Management > Try to submit an absence request.
4. Observe that the following message is displayed: Your changes have been submitted for manager approval.
5. Log in as the manager and observe notification is not in the Worklist.
6. Under Workflow Administrator Responsibility or equivalent.
7. Navigate to Administrator Workflow > Status Monitor > Search for the above request.
8. Observe that 'Status' is 'Error' and above error message is displayed.
