Symptoms
Income tax is not getting deducted for Inoperative PAN's i.e. when element entry 'Deduct Tax at Higher Rate' exists no income tax is deducted. System should deduct tax at higher rate.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 36222384:R12.PAY.C
2. Navigate to HRMS Manager > Fastpath >Run Quickpay
3. Go to View > Check Statement of Earnings
4. No income tax is deducted.
