No Error Message Text for Overlapping Competencies on Competence Profile Form (Doc ID 3061944.1)

Symptoms

When an overlapping competence is entered, it is still recognized as an error, but the message code and text is not displayed on Competence Profile form . Expected that following text message be displayed:

 

The dates of the competence_element you entered overlaps with an existing competence record.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.

2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain.

3. Go to Others > Competencies form.

4. Enter new row with same competence as an existing row, and a start date that overlaps.

5. When saving the record the error is generated, but without any message text.
