Symptoms
The MES Workstation allows a different lot number to be considered for a Work in Process (WIP) return when it was not initially issued to the job when the profile INV:Validate Returned Lot is set to Yes
This should not be allowed when the profile INV:Validate Returned Lot is set to Yes.
Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set the System Profile INV:Validate Returned Lot to Yes
2. Navigate to MES Operator->Search for job
3. Select operation
4. At Transact Components form:
- Select WIP return
- Select item an item issued to the job and enter transaction quantity of 1 and a enter a lot that was not originally issued to the job.
5. In the Transactions>Material Transactions form, confirm the WIP return transaction
See the transaction was allowed
