Why Certain Columns Do Not Appear in the List of Values While Defining a New Descriptive Flexfield? (Doc ID 3063733.1)

Symptoms

While trying to define a new Descriptive Flexfield, the user notices that some columns (ie. INTERFACE_LINE_ATTRIBUTE1-9) are missing from the list of values.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Setup > Financials > Flexfields > Descriptive > Segments
1. Query for Application = Receivables, Title = Line Transaction Flexfield
2. Unfreeze the Flexfield Definition
3. Create new row in Context Field Values list
4. Enter Code, Name and Description
5. Click on Segments
6. Provide Number, Name and Window Prompt
7. Open the Column list of values
8. Some columns are missing from the list
