R12: AP/XLA: Accounting Journal Descriptions Are In English When Signed in with Non-English (i.e. Brazilian Portuguese) (Doc ID 3065423.1)

Symptoms

Journal entry descriptions on the Create Accounting report are in English though the user is not signed in with English.

  1. Sign onto EBS with Brazilian Portuguese
  2. From a Payables Responsibility navigate to View -> Requests -> Submit a New Request
  3. In the name field put "Create Accounting" and hit tab
  4. Fill in the parameters
  5. Click "Submit"
  6. Once complete click on "View Output"
  7. Notice the report had Journal Line Type descriptions in English
