Symptoms

The 'Process' tab from a Purchasing Responsibility, does not show the expected pictorial flow diagram.
Instead results in error:

Your userarea applet has caused a runtime exception, the applet will be terminated to ensure continued functioning of your form.

java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.apps.fnd.wf.SessionManager.getUrlConnection(SessionManager.java:72)
at oracle.apps.fnd.flow.FlowDiagram.getFlowData(FlowDiagram.java:787)
at oracle.apps.fnd.flow.TaskFlow.getFlowComponents(TaskFlow.java:971)
at oracle.apps.fnd.flow.TaskFlow.<init>(TaskFlow.java:379)


Steps To Replicate

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Purchasing Super User Responsibility
  2. From the Menu Navigator screen, select the 'Process' tab
  3. Error message is encountered
