Goal

How can an accrual plan be adjusted to accommodate mid-period hires?

If an employee is hired in the middle of a pay period and the Accrual Start Date for New Hires is set to Hire Date, then for the first partial period the View Accruals screen displays that the new employee is not eligible.

Accruals calculate and display normally for the employee's first complete pay period.
