Tax Entered In INR Not Getting Converted To Foreign Currency For Export Orders At Sales Order India Tax Details (Doc ID 3066835.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 15, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Financials for India - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Wrong Tax calculation at sales order India tax details. Tax entered in INR for a Foreign currency (USD) sales order is not getting converted to the USD currency in India tax Details form.

The ADHOC tax is entered in INR and the tax total should have been converted to USD in the India Tax details form.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to India Local Order Management > Sales Orders.
2. Create an export Order in Foreign currency(USD).
3. Go to Tools > India tax details and provide an ADHOC tax amount in INR.
4. Find that the header is not showing the amount in USD, rather it is showing the entire INR value itself.
