Performance Issue In EAM Self Service Update Asset Page

Symptoms
Encountered performance issue while tryng to update Asset from EAM self Service Page.
When we click on the Asset update the page hangs for long time and and goes into error after few minutes. We have to go back to login page to resume the transactions.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EAM responsibility
2. Go to Assets --> Search Asset --> Click on Update Asset
3. System takes a long time
