R12: OIE: While Requesting More Information on the Expense Report Approval via Email, Comments Are Missing in the Expense Approval Notes Tab. (Doc ID 3067588.1)

Symptoms

When an employee submits an expense report for approval, the approver sends it back via email requesting additional information. The approver's comments are missing in the "Send Additional Information" section of the Approval Notes tab in the employee's expense report.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the iExpense Responsibility.
2. Create and submit an expense report for approval.
3. The approver requests more information by adding comments in the Additional Information section of the email.
4. Return to the submitted expense report, click on Approval Notes, and find that no approver comments are displayed in the Additional Information section.
