Symptoms

When running PRC: UPDATE PROJECT SUMMARY AMOUNTS with multiple threads, it ends with deadlock error:

MSG-00001: proj_accum: Exception Generated By Oracle Error: ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource
MSG-00001: Exception was generated by Accumulation API
REP-1419: 'beforereport': PL/SQL program aborted.
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:
REP-1419: MSG-00001: Calling Maintain Project Accumulation at ....


Parameters suggest in Doc ID 2831477.1 are set.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into to a Projects responsibility
  2. Navigate to Other > Requests > Run
  3. Submit the process
