Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Workflow - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While trying to set Override Address for Workflow Mailer, the action cannot be completed because the verification code is not received.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure BASIC SMTP workflow mailer without username and password.

2. Try setting the override address by clicking "Set Override Address"

3. Fill the New Override Address field then click on submit.

4. The email address given in Override Address should get the verification code but it is not received.

As a workaround, customers can set Override Address following How to set Workflow Mailer Override Address from Backend ? (Doc ID 1533596.1), but they cannot set in UI as expected.

Changes

Recently applied workflow patches 36017088 and 37056184.
