Symptoms
System is creating salvage value of some intangible assets at X% and some other at 0% when it is setup to 0% in Asset Category Default Rules.
Salvage value should be 0% by default as per the Category Default setup.
The issue can be seen as follows:
1. Navigate to Oracle Fixed Assets Manager.
2. Go to Setup > Asset System > Asset Categories.
3. Define Asset Category. Define the Default Salvage Value to 0% in the Category Defaults Rules.
4. Create Assets for the category.
5. Query the Asset in Financial Information. Find that the Salvage value shows a X% value.
