Symptoms
Payment file has been transmitted to the bank but The Format Payment Instruction Program errors out with
IBY_DISBURSE_UI_API_PUB_PKG.mark_all_pmts_complete:SQLERRM: ORA-20001: APP-SQLAP-10000: ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource occurred in
AP_PMT_CALLOUT_PKG.payments_completed
UPDATE ap_invoices_all
AP_PMT_CALLOUT_PKG.payments_completed
UPDATE ap_invoices_all
Steps
- Navigate to Payables Responsibility>Payments
- Click on Payment Manager
- Submit Format Payment instructions program,it transmitted the file but Format Instruction program error out with the above error
- The payment Process request remains in Formatting status
