Unable To Open GL Period, Getting Error ORA-04098 In GLOOAP: Open Period (Doc ID 3075194.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to open GL Period, the following error occurs.

ORA-04098: trigger 'APPS.GL_BALANCES_AI' is invalid and failed re-vali


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to General Ledger Responsibility
2. Navigate to Setup-> Open/Close
3. Open the required period
